** Video: KPP is awarded the Barbie Prize **
Sunday May 4, 2014: Kyary Pamyu Pamyu was
presented the prize of an American fashion doll
Barbie's debut 55th anniversary. The ceremony
was held in a building "LAFORET HARAJUKU"
as a landmark on Harajuku town. KPP appeared
on the stage after a celebratory fashion show by
"Harajuku Kawaii!!" models, and expressed her
joy in receiving the award before a congregation.
At the ceremony, a manager of Barbie revealed
that a doll likeness of KPP dressed in a costume
"PONPONPON" is still being manufactured as
the prize, and will be exhibited in a department
store in Shibuya in August when it is complete.

In the video, the presenter Ms.Rodgers,
Regional Manager, Mattel International
speaks English with Japanese subtitles.
But unfortunately, KPP speaks Japanese
with Japanese subtitles, and there is no
subtitles other than Japanese language.
